It’s an old rambling space, built in 1899 that needs a lot of TLC. There are big holes in some walls, and rooms in colors, I might not have chosen for myself. It’s a labor of love, and a work in progress. From now on, about three or four times a year, artists will be invited to make site-specific pieces. You can see some photos from the day here.

Wilberding’s images document some of the intimate and daily struggles that take place behind the headlines of Pakistan’s escalating violence.
